Providing State Of The Art Techniques

Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments utilizing ``state of the art`` chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic care have chiropractors been able to provide the level of help and expertise that is available today. Many of the newest chiropractic techniques are actually safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a chiropractor who cares about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, Dr. J Scott Laughter has years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients get pain relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other related conditions originating from the spine. Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help you achieve total health or wellness.

Chiropractic Techniques

Historically, and in the last several decades there are many chiropractic techniques that have come into play. We make use of many techniques at the discretion of each client individually. Our goal is for you to be comfortable and for your health and well-being to improve. Here are a few techniques that are used by Dr. Laughter.
1. Diversified - This technique is the most commonly used of all chiropractic techniques and is the one probably most familiar to patients. The Diversified manipulation/adjustment entails a high velocity, low-amplitude thrust delivered by hand and possibly with assistance from a table or block.
2. Pelvic Blocking - To adjust the bottom of the spine (sacrum/pelvis area), chiropractic physicians use pelvic blocks. These blocks are wedge shape and are placed under the patient's hips. The blocks serve as a fulcrum to allow the body to do the adjustment, rather than a thrust from the chiropractic physician.
3. Adjunctive Therapies such as Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS), Therapeutic Ultrasound, Heat, Cryotherapy and Massage.
